The RDP was opened by Commission XII Chair Bambang Patijaya, who, in his opening remarks, urged BAPETEN to present the 2024 Performance Evaluation and 2025 Work Program.

BAPETEN representatives at this RDP were Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo; Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection, Zainal Arifin; Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, Haendra Subekti; and Echelon II officials, including Achmad Bussamah from the Bureau of Planning, Information, and Finance (BPIK); Indra Gunawan from the Bureau of Organisation and General Services (BOU); Ishak from the Bureau of Legal Affairs, Cooperation, and Public Communication (BHKK); Judi Pramono from the Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN); Zulkarnain from the Directorate of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DIFRZR); and Lukman Hakim from the Directorate of Inspection of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DI2BN).

The activity continued with a presentation by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo, who explained the 2024 Performance Evaluation and the 2025 Work Program. Sugeng further explained the adjustments to the Work Plan and Budget which included BAPETEN Budget Realization in 2024, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024 for Nuclear Energy Utilization Licensing, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024, Nuclear Energy Utilization Inspection, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024 for Development of Participatory Supervision Information System, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024 for Improving the National Nuclear Security and Preparedness System, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024 for Development of the Nuclear Power Monitoring System, Strategic Output Achievements in 2024 for Formulation and Development of Regulations and Recommendations for Nuclear Energy Policy, BAPETEN Budget Ceiling Posture in 2025 After Reconstruction, BAPETEN Budget Realization in 2025, Strategic Activities and Outputs in 2025.

The meeting concluded that Komisi XII DPR RI encouraged BAPETEN to implement all priority programs for 2025, Komisi XII DPR RI requested BAPETEN to increase public awareness of the potential and impacts of nuclear technology utilization, and Komisi XII DPR RI supported BAPETEN in accelerating the establishment of the Nuclear Energy Program Implementation Organization (NEPIO) to prepare for all requirements related to nuclear power plant construction in Indonesia.
