The meeting was held in a hybrid manner and was attended by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, BAPETEN, TNI, and POLRI, also inviting experts in maritime law and international law as well as professors of legislation. On this occasion, the topic of discussion was the discussion of the substance regarding the authority of investigation by the TNI AL and POLRI in the context of defense, security, law enforcement, and sovereignty in maritime areas from a legal perspective.

Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, Haendra Subekti, explained in his opening remarks that this draft law has been started since 2019; the revision of the Nuclear Power Law Number 10 of 1997 concerning Nuclear Power is expected to be able to meet and answer current conditions.

Next, the presentation of material by two speakers. The first presentation was delivered by Prof. Dr. Bayu Dwi Anggono, S.H., M.H., Professor of Legislation, Faculty of Law, University of Jember. Bayu presented material regarding the regulation of investigative authority in the Indonesian state system. The second presentation of material was delivered by Arie Afriansyah regarding the investigative authority of the POLRI and TNI in the context of defense, security, and law enforcement in the maritime territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

Continued with a discussion session. In the discussion, there were things that needed attention, namely the Constitutional Court's decision to provide space for investigators from institutions other than the POLRI, the coordination process of other institutions with the POLRI, and the competence of the TNI and POLRI is not in doubt.
