Director of Regulation of Nuclear Installation and Materials Haendra Subekti said that the purpose of this activity is to get an overview of the implementation of mining arrangements after the Omnibus Law, learning on operational aspects and sharing experience from the Director General of Minerba ESDM on the aspect of development and supervision.

Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, Dahlia C. Sinaga welcomed the implementation of this FGD because the safety aspects in the mining of nuclear materials have been widely discussed with stakeholders, while aspects of business and state revenue still need to analyze the benefits and costs before becoming a regulation. This FGD will also provide benefits to BAPETEN, especially in the preparation of the Electricity Bill and regulations on the implementation of nuclear mining materials, and the preparation of a risk-based licensing system in the field of mining nuclear materials.

Yudianto, who represents the Director of Mineral and Coal Business Development ESDM provided exposure to mineral mining arrangements after the Omnibus Law, including business, supervision and integrated licensing of OSS.
