Directorate of Regulation of Nuclear Installation and Materials (DP2IBN) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Wednesday, 28 July 2021 online. This FGD was carried out in the framework of the discussion "Licensing of Electricity Sector Efforts" which presented speakers from the Ministry of Investment / BKPM.
This activity was opened by Director of Regulation of Nuclear Installation and Materials Haendra Subekti, he hoped in this discussion to illustrate how the pace of Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) licensing will go through across ministries which of course there will be special treatment.
The event continued with a speech from Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment (PKN) Dahlia Cakrawati Sinaga, she delivered "This FGD discusses specifically about NPP that are part of nuclear installations whose permits go through multi-stages ranging from site permits to decommissioning according to Government Regulation (PP) No. 5 of 2021, related to KLBI which will be requested by prospective business owners in the future in applying for electricity centers both for electricity and activities”.
Focus Group Discussion continued with the presentation of "Licensing for Cross-Sector Business Owners and Implementation of KBLI Single Purpose and Multi Purpose" by Director of Investment Deregulation of the Ministry of Investment / BKPM Dendy Apriandi. Dendy explained about the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing (P2B2R) through the Risk-Based OSS system as a UUCK mandate, licensing for business owners who cross sectors and the implementation of KBLI single purpose and multi purpose.
With the end of the presentation from the speaker, the activity continued with discussion and QnA session by the participants. Among these questions regarding the process of establishing the Indonesian Business Field Standard Classification (KBLI), the process of changing KBLI in PP No. 5 of 2021 whether it can be changed, the NPP process that retreated for technical reasons. The event was closed by the Director of DP2IBN who said the FGD aims to increase understanding including to improve the numbering of KBLI and communicate with the relevant Ministries, especially NPP so that when conducting construction to business owners will be better.
