Entry Meeting for the Preliminary Audit of Nuclear Energy Licensing Management by BPK RI
Kembali 30 September 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 8 lihatThe Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) received a visit from the audit team of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) as part of the preparation for the Preliminary Audit of Nuclear Energy Licensing Management for Fiscal Year 2024 up to the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2025. The entry meeting was held on September 30th 2025, at the BAPETEN Office. The event was attended by members of the BPK RI audit team, the Acting Executive Secretary of BAPETEN, representatives of BAPETEN’s Primary High Leaders and Internal Supervisory Unit (APIP), and was officially opened by the Head of Internal Auditors of BAPETEN, Achmad Bussamah.
Representing BPK RI, Indria Syznia, Director of Audit III, conveyed the objectives and scope of this assignment. In her remarks, she emphasized that BAPETEN holds a strategic role as the sole institution responsible for nuclear energy supervision in Indonesia. In line with this, BPK RI will conduct an audit of BAPETEN’s performance in carrying out its duties and functions, with the inspection focus set on licensing activities in the industrial sector. She also noted that the completion rate of BAPETEN’s Follow-Up on Audit Recommendations (TLHP or Tindak Lanjut Hasil Pemeriksaan) has currently reached 82.93%, surpassing the national average completion rate of 75%.
The event continued with remarks delivered by the Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment of BAPETEN, Haendra Subekti, who also served as the Acting Executive Secretary of BAPETEN. In his address, he reiterated BAPETEN’s commitment to following up on the recommendations provided by BPK RI. This reaffirmed BAPETEN’s dedication to supporting the performance audit conducted by BPK RI as part of its efforts to ensure nuclear oversight that is transparent, effective, efficient, and results-oriented.
