The event began with remarks from BAPETEN's Director of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN), Zulkarnain, who conveyed the importance of this event for the future implementation of these regulations. "Please make the most of this opportunity to discuss, as this regulation was only enacted at the end of December, and we certainly still have many questions," he added.

BAPETEN Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection, Zainal Arifin, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of nuclear safety in the utilization of nuclear energy in Indonesia. According to him, the Nuclear Training Institute is the gateway to nuclear power and must be meticulous in carrying out its duties.

"If nuclear power is not used safely and securely, it could endanger our families. Therefore, this regulation was created to ensure security and safety in the use of nuclear power," he said.

The event continued with a presentation on the materials of Regulation No. 4 of 2024 and Regulation No. 5 of 2024 by Associate Radiation Supervisor Aris Sanyoto, followed by a presentation on the Implementation Policy of Regulation No. 4 of 2024 and Regulation No. 5 of 2025 by Associate Radiation Supervisor Ida Bagus Manuaba and Associate Radiation Supervisor Rini Suryanti.

Following the presentations, a question-and-answer session was held between participants and the speakers. Participants were very enthusiastic in asking questions regarding the implementation of the regulation.
