The organizer of this activity is the Archives Unit - Protocol and Administration Section, Bureau of Organization and General Affairs (BOU), by inviting the Head of the Bureau of Law, Cooperation and Public Communication (BHKK) as the creator of the archive along with the relevant staff who on this occasion was represented by Surachmat as the Responsible for the Legal Function and the Head of the Inspectorate along with the Auditor as the internal supervisor / appraiser of the proposed destruction archive, Archivists and Records Managers within BAPETEN.

Head of Protocol and TU, Kuspriyanto said that the destruction of BAPETEN archives was carried out in accordance with BAPETEN Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the implementation of Archives and No. 11 of 2019 concerning Archive Retention Schedules in the BAPETEN Environment, where BAPETEN as an archive-creating institution is required to carry out archive depreciation through the destruction of archives that have no use value and are declared destroyed.

Furthermore, remarks from the Head of the Organization and General Bureau, Dedik Eko Sumargo, said that our task in managing archives at BAPETEN is still very long, in the future I hope that we will continue to apply solidarity, cooperation and support each other until we can provide the best for this country.

The next event was a symbolic handover of archive boxes to be destroyed from the BHKK processing unit by Surachman to the BOU archiving unit Dedik Eko Sumargo and continued with the signing of the archive destruction minutes.

At the end of the event, a symbolic destruction of archives was carried out by the Head of BOU, Head of Inspectorate, Representative of BHKK. And the next archive destruction will be carried out by the Protocol and Administration Section.[BOU/Gayatri/BHKK/OR]
