Haendra Subekti, the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, began the activity. According to Haendra, BAPETEN's Chairman Regulation No. 1 of 2006 is no longer in line with recent developments, such as modifications to the authority of institutions involved in dosimetry laboratories, calibration of radiation measuring devices and therapeutic radiation source output, and standardization of radionuclides. As a result, Haendra stated that the responsibilities and powers of these institutions must be reorganized and that the provision of equipment and the development of human resources must be enhanced to meet the demands of precise and traceable calibration services.

Ghufron Zaid, the Director of SNSU Mechanics, Radiation, and Biology, BSN, then gave a presentation on "Management of National Standards for Units of Measurement" to continue the program. The legal foundation for standardization and conformance assessment, the organizational structure of BSN, the history of SNSU-BSN, the ionizing radiation dosimetry measurement traceability system, the SNSU ionizing radiation laboratory, the role of SNSU-BSN in measurement traceability, standard time dissemination, measurement and calibration capabilities, and the road map until 2054 were all covered by Gufron.

Then Heru Prasetio, as the Head of the Nuclear Safety, Meteorology, and Quality Technology Research Center, BRIN, delivered a presentation on "Management of Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratories (LDSS).". In his presentation, Heru explained the status of LDSS traceability in the radiation sector, the need for national radiation calibration, LDSS-IAEA membership, and the potential for LDSS governance hierarchy in Indonesia.

The event was closed with a discussion session conducted with a discussion on the direction of regulations related to the development of LDSS, namely the possibility of more than one LDSS in Indonesia, which will be differentiated based on geographical location and function; the responsibility of each level of dosimetry laboratory (LDST, LDSS, LDTN); the possibility of a focal point for international from BSN (SNSU); and the possibility of SNSU becoming LDSS and LDTN. The follow-up to the coordination meeting in an effort to provide services to the community, BAPETEN, BSN, and BRIN will continue to coordinate to complete the draft BAPETEN regulation replacing BAPETEN's Chairman Regulation No. 1 of 2006 and prepare related infrastructure so that this draft regulation can be implemented properly.
