The commemoration of the 96th Youth Pledge Day in 2024 has the theme "Advancing Together with Greater Indonesia." This theme reflects the spirit of unity for the progress of the nation and emphasizes the importance of collaboration among Indonesian youth. The ceremony, which was held on October 28, 2024, was attended by all BAPETEN employees in the courtyard of the BAPETEN building.

In the message of the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, which was read by Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo, as the ceremony instructor, it was said that "this momentum is an opportunity for the Indonesian nation to pay greater attention to youth development agendas as an important part of Indonesian development, both in the position of youth as subjects of development and as objects of development."

"As subjects of development, some Indonesian youth have the ability to actively participate in various sectors of national development, even in the United Nations' SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) agenda, which is a global agenda.
