BAPETEN Working Visit to DPMPTSP Surakarta in the Framework of Collaboration to Accelerate Business Licensing
Kembali 07 September 2023 | Berita BAPETENBAPETEN through the Directorate of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DPFRZR) held a working visit to the Office of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Surakarta City on Thursday, 7 September 2023. This activity was carried out in the context of coordination and cooperation related to the collaboration of the DPMPTSP Surakarta Licensing Officer Workshop Activity Plan and the surrounding districts/cities. The plan is a workshop activity that will discuss the introduction of nuclear energy and the mechanism of the licensing process.
Attending this visit was Director of DPFRZR BAPETEN Ishak, Coordinator of the Research and Industrial Facilities Licensing Function Group Mukhlisin and related staff. The visit of the BAPETEN team was received directly by the Head of DPMPTSP Surakarta Andriyani Sasanti and related staff.
The event began with remarks from the Head of DPMPTSP Surakarta City Andriyani Sasanti who expressed his appreciation to BAPETEN for visiting and hoped that the two parties would always coordinate in terms of accelerating business implementation, especially in the nuclear energy sector in Surakarta.
Then continued with a presentation of licensing for the use of ionizing radiation sources by Ishak who conveyed the importance of collaboration between BAPETEN and DPMPTSP Surakarta. The collaboration in question is related to licensing services, consultations and workshops for DPMPTSP Surakarta Licensing Officers. This workshop aims to provide briefing and knowledge for DPMPTSP officers so as to make it easier for the public to be able to access and obtain information on nuclear energy permits in the fields of Industry, Health and Research.
City Andriyani Sasanti welcomed the DPMPTSP Licensing Officer Workshop Activity Plan, for further coordination of workshop preparations to be held in 2024. The meeting also discussed the proposed plan to place BAPETEN licensing evaluators at DPMPTSP to serve business owners related to nuclear energy (placement will be carried out on a scheduled basis). At the closing end session, Ishak expressed his appreciation and gratitude to DPMPTSP Surakarta and all its staff for the warm welcome in receiving the working visit of the BAPETEN Team. Ishak also conveyed BAPETEN's commitment in improving licensing services for the benefit of the community in order to support the ease of doing business in Indonesia.
It is expected that this activity can make BAPETEN and DPMPTSP Surakarta continue to coordinate in the strategy of licensing services for the use of ionizing radiation sources and collaborate in preparing an action plan for the implementation of accelerating business implementation in the nuclear energy sector, especially in Surakarta City.
