This in-depth verification process was conducted at two locations: the headquarters of PT Gayuh Setia Utama in East Jakarta and the Jakarta II Health Polytechnic in South Jakarta, which has been proposed as a partner for the use of ionizing radiation sources. The BAPETEN assessment team, led by the Director of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN), Judi Pramono, along with team members Rini Suryanti, Deddy Rusdiana, and Joni Kadir, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various critical aspects.

The scope of the verification included an assessment of the training institution’s management system, ensuring that PT Gayuh Setia Utama has adequate structures and procedures to deliver high-quality training. Training facilities and infrastructure were also a key focus, with evaluations of the available equipment and resources to support the learning process. The modules, curriculum, and teaching materials were thoroughly reviewed to ensure compliance with BAPETEN Regulation No. 4 of 2024 on Work Permits for personnel at radiation facilities and/or activities utilizing ionizing radiation sources, which serves as the training standard and meets industry needs in the field of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.

Additionally, the BAPETEN assessment team evaluated the human resources at PT Gayuh Setia Utama, assessing the competence and qualifications of the instructors and support staff. The results of this field verification will serve as the basis for BAPETEN’s decision regarding the designation of PT Gayuh Setia Utama as an authorized training institution for Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) training in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
