BAPETEN as 2nd Nominee for the 2024 Investment Service Award
Kembali 30 September 2024 | Berita BAPETENThe Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) became the 2nd nominee out of 10 nominees of ministries/institutions (K/L) for the 2024 performance assessment of the acceleration of business implementation of ministries/institutions at the 2024 Investment Service Award (ALI) held by the Ministry of Investment/Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) on Monday, September 30, 2024.
ALI is an award given to regional governments and ministries/institutions that obtain the best assessment results for investment service performance as determined through the Decree of the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM. This award is given to government agencies in the category of Special Awards for Eastern Indonesia Region, city, regency and provincial governments, and Ministries/Institutions.
The event began with a report from the Deputy for Investment Cooperation of the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, Tirta Nugraha Mursitama. In his report, he said, "The Ministry of Investment/BKPM is given a mandate to carry out this assessment activity based on Presidential Regulation Number 42 of 2020, Regulation of the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Number 2 of 2022, and Decree of the Minister of Investment Head of BKPM number 134 of 2023. For this year's performance assessment, it consists of 546 regional governments, consisting of 38 provincial governments, 415 regency governments, 95 city governments, and 18 ministries and institutions. The main objective of this performance assessment activity is to provide an overview of the evaluation and quality of performance."
"The performance of the ministry and institutions in 2024, all ministries/institutions have succeeded in the very good category. This is an extraordinary achievement. For the regional government, there are 441 regional governments, or 81%, in the very good and good category and 105 regional governments, or 19%, in the less good category, while the very good and good presentation increased by 17% compared to the achievement of performance assessment activities in 2023," he reported.
As a nominee for the best investment service in 2024, BAPETEN received a certificate from the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, which on that occasion was given by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Abdullah Azwar Anas and received directly by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN Sugeng Sumbarjo.
The event was closed by the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, who, in his closing remarks, said, "On this occasion, of course, I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation to all ministries, institutions, and also the leaders of the provincial, regency, and city regional heads who have worked together in synergy and collaboration with friends and investment legends in order to improve the service of improving the investment industry climate and also increase competitiveness."
