The event began with remarks from the Head of the Spiritual Affairs Division of KORPRI BAPETEN, Mukhlisin, who expressed appreciation to the Al-Hidayah BAPETEN Mosque Management Council (DKM) for its initiative and collaboration in organizing the event. The Isra Mi’raj commemoration was regarded as an important part of fostering the spiritual life of employees, as well as a momentum to strengthen faith and devotion to Allah SWT. The values of obedience, sincerity, and discipline embodied in the Isra Mi’raj event are expected to be reflected in the professionalism, integrity, and sense of responsibility of BAPETEN personnel.

The event was officially opened by the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment of BAPETEN, Haendra Subekti. In his opening remarks, he stated that the commemoration of Isra Mi’raj serves not only as a means of reflecting on faith, but also as an effort to strengthen a work culture rooted in honesty, discipline, and noble character in carrying out official duties. BAPETEN supports religious activities organized by its internal spiritual units as part of human resource development aimed at fostering personnel who are faithful, ethical, and committed to delivering the best possible service to the public.

The series of events was further enlivened by a performance from a young preacher, Fathan Al Muzakki Adnan, a third grade elementary school student and the son of a BAPETEN employee. In his brief sermon, the young preacher conveyed a message on the importance of not delaying obligations, particularly in performing daily prayers. He illustrated how people often forget or postpone responsibilities due to everyday busyness, such as work matters, unsent messages, or other activities. Through these simple examples, he reminded the audience to always remember Allah SWT in all circumstances.

Furthermore, the young preacher emphasized that one of the characteristics of a true believer is maintaining prayers on time and not delaying them. He encouraged all attendees not to allow their prayers to be postponed or neglected, as prayer is a source of happiness and blessings, both in this world and in the hereafter. The message was delivered in simple and straightforward language, making it easy to understand and leaving a meaningful impression on the entire audience.

The main religious sermon was delivered by Ustadz Nasrullah, S.Si., author of the book Rahasia Magnet Rezeki. In his lecture, Ustadz Nasrullah expressed gratitude to Allah SWT for the opportunity to gather and commemorate the momentous event of Isra Mikraj of Prophet Muhammad SAW. He offered prayers for all attendees to be granted continuous happiness, blessings, honor, and success in their lives. The commemoration of Isra Mikraj was described as a meaningful occasion to seek knowledge and to take home positive values that can be practiced in daily life.

Furthermore, Ustadz Nasrullah emphasized that the values embodied in Isra Mikraj are highly relevant to the theme of the event, namely building a work culture that is honest, disciplined, and grounded in noble character. He encouraged participants to make worship, particularly prayer, the foundation for character building and integrity, especially in preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. According to him, honesty, discipline, and good character are not only religious obligations, but also key factors in attaining blessings in both professional duties and personal life.

The event was officially closed by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin. In his closing remarks, he stated that Isra Mikraj is a profoundly meaningful event that conveys lessons of obedience and blessings. The command to perform prayer received by Prophet Muhammad SAW serves as a source of spiritual strength, which is expected to inspire BAPETEN employees to carry out their duties with integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility. By expressing his gratitude to all parties who contributed to the successful organization of the event, the Commemoration of Isra Mikraj of Prophet Muhammad SAW 1447 Hijriah was formally concluded.
