In 2024, Ombudsman Indonesia has carried out an assessment of 3 work units of public service providers at BAPETEN, namely the Directorate of Licensing for Nuclear Installations and Materials, the Directorate of Licensing for Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Substances, and the Directorate of Nuclear Engineering and Preparedness by obtaining a score of 85.22, which is included in the green zone, high quality and category B.

In his remarks, Wiryono expressed his gratitude for the assessment carried out by the Indonesian Ombudsman on the implementation of public services at BAPETEN. Then Wiryono expected that through the Ombudsman assessment, BAPETEN could find out aspects of public service delivery that are still lacking and need to be improved. BAPETEN is committed to continuing to improve public services in the future through sustainable improvement.

Meanwhile, Maulana expressed his congratulations on BAPETEN's achievements in 2024. Maulana considered that BAPETEN is a unique institution because, even though it does not / rarely gets assistance from the Indonesian Ombudsman, BAPETEN managed to get an increase in value compared to the assessment results in 2023.
